So since we have moved to our homestead, one of our first endeavors of producing our own food, has been to raise pigs. We started off by buying two female pigs and one castrated male pig. We bought the piglets at 6 weeks old, and our intentions were to butcher the male pig for food and breed the female pigs to sell and raise more pigs. Well, we just this last week butchered our first male pig. Needless to say, I now have to come up with many ways to cook pork, so my family does not get sick of eating it. This recipe is super good, and super easy. I was able to fit 5 pork chops in my crock pot. They just fell apart as my family took them out of the crock pot.
- 5 pork chops
- one can of beef broth or vegetable broth
- 1 pack of fiesta ranch seasoning
Combine the ingredients in your crock pot. Set the crock pot on low, and serve 6 hours later. We had it with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. I thought they complimented it well.
